Napa, California Wedding Photographer- Kama & Dennis

I had the pleasure of capturing the intimate exchange of wedding vows between Kama & Dennis on April 22nd at the Carneros Inn in Napa, California! Kama and Dennis traveled up from Southern California to marry in one of the most amazing properties in Napa. Their vows were exchanged in the private yard of one of the Carneros exquisite cottages. Only myself, my assistant, and the minister were present to see Kama and Dennis become man and wife. They shared a glass of wine while eating their carrot wedding cake. We then strolled around the amazing Carneros property to capture some gorgeous wedding portraits..............

San Francisco Bay Area Maternity Photographer- Brooke and Jarrett's Maternity Session!

I have known Brooke and Jarrett since high school, so that puts us about 15 years!!! Brooke and Jarrett are just about one of the top 3 cutest couples I know.

1.) They have been together since at least high school: high school sweethearts ;)

2.) You can tell they LOVE each other so much after all these years, they really do complete each other. (soul mates)

3.) They are as beautiful inside as they are outside!

So, since they were expecting a little boy: Jacob Ethan (yes he is here already!!!) and, since they are both major Giant's fans, I suggested AT&T park! They were game! So we spent a wonderful afternoon in San Fran, walking all around the park. Their Pit bull Toby tagged along! Whoever gave Pit Bulls a bad wrap is so wrong. He's the sweetest dog ever!!

East Bay Maternity Photographer- Amy's Maternity Session in Dublin, CA

Miss Amy was referred over to me by The Makeup Dolls for a styled Maternity Session! Our session almost didn't happen as the skies were looking pretty dark and gloomy. However, we decided to go for it! Good think we did because the showers stayed at bay for long enough to get these amazing images!!!

The Virgo in me is a MAJOR PLANNER!! I go into anxiety overload if I'm not completly prepared and ready for anything, especially photo sessions. I was not able to scout locations in Dublin prior to our shoot. So Amy and her hubby suggested a park near their home. I was game, and as a wise photographer by the name of Jasmine Star taught me at the workshop, a good photographer is not someone who just takes good photos in a perfectly beautiful location of their choosing, but one who can create good photos in a lousy location!! But, I didn't have to work overtime because when we jumped out of the car, I saw this:

As drops of rain started to fall on us, we headed back to their home, which of course will be baby's first home!

Cherie & Garrett's E-session

Check out these two, how cute are they?? I met Cherie and Garrett through another bride that I had photographed last year :) Referrals are great! Makes my heart pitter patter ;) Instantly, I knew at Starbucks where we met for the first time, that I wanted to be this couples wedding photographer!!

I loved the genuineness of their relationship: true love. I loved both of their personalities, easy-going, fun, smart. I knew that the 3 of us would make a good match! Lucky for me, they thought so too!

After many months of trying to find a perfect day to shoot their E-session, we finally got perfection! I think these images say it all! We started out at Kunde winery on Hwy 12. We then ventured south to the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn. That place is GORGEOUS!!! Our last stop, right as the sun was getting low, was an open field next to this super cute white church.

Then, the crazy photographer I am, suggested that they take Anniston's sidewalk chalk to scribble on the pavement at the church parking lot..........steading myself on my dad's wooden ladder I borrowed, I snapped some very fun shots!

So, a little of what I did with Julie & Jeff during their E-session in Los Gatos!! This happens to be the second portion of their day. We started at Powells Candy Shop in Downtown Los Gatos. The cutest place ever!!! Floor to ceiling candy, bright colors, gelato, Willy Wonka playing in the background complete with movie seats to sit and watch. J&J like to grab candy there from time to time, so we thought it would be fun to start. We then strolled along to a flower shop, and even a bridal shop called, "She Said Yes!" (perfect for photos!)

The blue tandem bike seen in these pictures belonged to Julie's mom! Her parents (high school sweethearts) would ride it together in high school...........how cute is that?? Whats even cuter is that J&J got to ride it for their engagement session :)I love using props in sessions, but what is even better, is a prop that has meaning.
